Action Girl Sports Expo Skate Contest

Girl presented a great day of girl skating with jams, demos and contests at the Long Beach Convention Center this past Saturday.
Highlights of the day were the mini ramp contest that had nine girls (pro and am) ripping airs, ollies, slides and grinds,
and the first ever girls high jump contest that produced two record holders in different divisions jumping
over 36 inches. Nikki holds the overall womens world high jump record at 36 inches. Melissa holds the high jump record for
her height division at 34 inches. NBC, The Long Beach Registar, Blue Edge and several other publications were there to record
the historic event.
