Jan 7- The new year kicked off with the big release of Villa Villa Cola's "Getting Nowhere
Faster" and I was giddy like a school girl on E. After travelling around the globe the premiere finally ended in Los
Angeles, California. With the occassional outburst of "slut" from the gal skaters, I was prepared for an interesting
show. And damn did I get one.
Unlike alot of other skate vids out there, "Getting Nowhere Faster" actually had a whole story
line with an actual plot. With quirky humor and retro background music, the gals really went all out to stand
out. And the skating? It was awesome to see for the first time a compilation of girl skaters ripping it. I loved it
and afterwards I seriously wanted to skate.
